CRICURSA; curved and flat glass manufacturer for architectural projects, is in search of a dedicated and energetic USA Sales Manager for the American market.
The Architectural Glass Sales Manager will be stationed in New York City Metro Area and will cover the region of the Northeast, primarily Boston, New York state, Washington DC, and Chicago. The primary objective of the US Sales Manager is to gain knowledge of the marketplace and business conditions and utilize that information to maximize profitable opportunities. This position plays a key role in initiating, developing, and maintaining solid and continuing business relationships with our customers and includes travel to customers, job sites, and trade shows.
Projects typically include special projects, facades, skyscrapers, modular glazed offices, luxury residentials, shopping centers, and high-end retail. CRICURSA was founded in 1928 with the intention of bringing form, material and processing into high technology glass bending, to explore the possibilities of curved glass as a decorative element. With more than 90 years in worldwide glass market, CRICURSA has evolved in producing architectural glass, curved and flat interior and exterior glass, and is currently present in many of the most famous architectural works around the world. With an established footprint in the US and various successful projects in New York, Boston and Washington DC, CRICURSA continues to expand and complement its technology in glass. Some of the most recent US projects are the Nike flagship store in NY, Grace Farms in CT, Apple Store in Chicago. Etc. Further projects
Responsibilities: Research the marketplace to collect opportunity leads with renowned architects and determine developing trends. Drive Architectural Sales in the Northeast territory for CRICURSA leading architectural glass customers. Grow CRICURSA s product specification rates by assisting Architects and Building Envelope Consultants with glass selection, aesthetic recommendations, performance requirements, security concerns and other design issues. Organize and implement daily/weekly sales plans to meet with customers in the territory, negotiate opportunities and close small, medium and large-sized contracts Follow up and collect pertinent information regarding opportunities, identify and target the most attractive opportunities. Establish relationships with engineering and architectural firms. Continual development and maintenance of the customer relationship management system, project and opportunity tracking, sales pipeline systems and reporting. Travel to customers, job sites, and trade shows. Review and evaluation of proposals from suppliers and subcontractors and formulate bid strategies with management and the sales team Responsible for achieving order acquisition goals and assuring the jobs are sold at the correct margin. Communicate internally on sales activity to all appropriate functions and personnel. Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 10-15 years of experience and successful track record of outside sales, preferably in the commercial construction industry, or specifically in the glass & glazing industry. Bachelor s Degree in engineering or architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution. Capability to manage and monitor all conducted sales, quotations and Request for Proposals (RFPs). Solid analytical skills, technical aptitude and understanding of complex products and building systems Strong interpersonal, negotiating and closing abilities with excellent customer service skills. Computer literate, ability to use Microsoft Office and proficiency in processing sales contracts and orders using a sales solutions system. Knowledge of AutoCAD software preferred. A valid Driver s License required or in the process of obtaining one within 3 months. Must be able to travel across the region and to commercial conventions, expos and conferences.
