We are currently looking for Insurance Premium Auditors to cover various locations this is a contract position.

Long Island, Suffolk and Nassau County (in particular Brooklyn & Queens)
Responsibilities and Duties
Completion of Worker's Compensation, General Liability, Commercial Auto and other specialty lines premium audits.Manage and maintain assigned inventory of work. Manage all scheduling, conducting of the audit and submission of the audit report. Meets or exceeds all internal standard / requirements for meeting deadlines.Review of records to develop the actual exposure for the policy term using industry standard practices. Knowledge of standard payroll and sales documents, tax reporting forms, Certificates of Insurance and accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, etc.).Completing an audit report evaluating the risk and comparing to the policy premium basis.Assist with disputed audits and amending reports as needed.Maintains excellent communication, presentation and professionalism standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor s Degree and at least two years experience conducting premium audits or related risk management /underwriting experience.CRIS, CIC, CPCU, ARM, CIPA or other professional designation. NJ or NY Insurance Producer s License or acceptable carrier, general agent or insurance carrier experience.Thorough understanding of Workers Compensation, General Liability and Commercial Auto coverage. Understanding of other non-standard policy forms.Knowledge of NCCI, State Bureau and ISO rules, classification codes, premium basis, etc.
